Text about the series
Inanimate is a series of photographs of animal motifs found in and around the city. As human beings encroach upon the natural habitat of animals, this is perhaps one of the few ways by which younger generations can experience 'wildlife'. As it gets more and more difficult to spot these creatures in the wild, sculptures and paintings found in cities remind children of the forests that may have once existed there.
